Jesus Trees

The children discussed the idea of the relationship between us and Jesus, being like a tree. The idea is that Jesus is the tree trunk and we are the branches.

As the trunk needs the branches to gain sunlight and nutrients and in turn the branches are supported by the trunk. We need Jesus for support and Jesus needs us for love.

As this relationship grows the tree is able to bear fruit. The fruit being the positive attributes we show in our lives. Being loving, kind, caring and friendly.

The children made wonderful pictures showing this. Well done!
